Amazing food, unique atmosphere. I really enjoyed eating at this location. It is a hike from my house but well worth the trip.

Ordered the bistec tacos you get five per order. served over mini corn tortillas with plenty of cilantro and chopped onions and grilled onions and lime wedges with the little salad on the side that consisted of cucumbers and radishes. The beef was a little under seasoned. I did have to add a little bit of salt. But I actually prefer under season then over seasoned.. The young man that prepared the tacos was friendly.... a kind young lady had our sodas waiting at the table by time we made our way to the dining area. They had very loud music as you enter however, if you sit in the dining area, the music is not so loud. The restaurant was very clean.!

If you're in search of authentic and mouth-watering tacos, look no further than Taquitos West Ave. This place keeps it simple yet exceptional with one main offering: TACOS! You get to choose your own protein, and let me tell you, the steak option did not disappoint. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection, creating a flavorful experience that tantalized my taste buds. The process is seamless: you order, they prepare, you enjoy. The staff is efficient, making sure you have everything you need, including fetching drinks while you dive into your meal. Payment is quick and painless after you're done savoring your meal. The highlight for me was the fresh salsa selection, especially the spicy red one - it's a must-try for those who love a good kick. The ambiance is straightforward and focused on the food, which speaks for itself. However, there's a slight hitch in the cleanliness perception due to the food prep process. The person preparing the tacos wasn't wearing gloves, which might be off-putting for some as it involves direct hand contact with the food. This could easily be improved for a better visual assurance of hygiene practices. Parking can be a bit of a challenge since it's limited, so you might end up parking on the street. Despite this, the quality of the tacos makes it well worth the minor inconvenience. I'm already planning my next visit to try the other protein options. Taquitos West Ave is definitely a spot that taco enthusiasts should not miss!

Food is tasty, fresh, and delicious. The tacos that are a Most get are the tacos Al Pastor, which are served only Wednesday through Sunday. Portions are reasonable for the price. The ambience is overly loud but the staff is friendly. Especially on weekends, ordering line is looong but with luck it moves quickly. Parking is always crowded and tight, and sometimes you just have to sit and wait in the car, waiting for a parking spot to open. When in the mood for tacos, al pastor always hit the spot!

This is about as authentic as you're going to get. Tacos are insanely cheap and it's super fast service. It's perfect in its simplicity.

Amazing tacos in San Antonio! When you arrive, order at the counter (the food comes out so fast) and then order drinks and ask for salsa and take a seat - but remember how many tacos you ordered because you'll pay after you're done. If you ever need anything else, the staff is super kind and will get you anything you need, even more tacos. Tacos are on the saltier side, but I'd rather have more flavor than less. The salsa were delicious as well. The verde/green is refreshing and the roja/red has a nice kick. Every taco is priced the same, less than $2. My personal favs were the bistek and chorizo, although I didn't get to try al pastor because they only serve that Thurs - Sun. I loved the doubled corn tortillas and how many limes they give you. I'll be back here when I'm in town!

Taquitos West Avenue, we have a saying for you now. When I asked my partner our over view on this restaurant he said and I quote "five all the time!". The line out the door really says something about this place. If people are willing to stand outside just for these tacos, then you know these tacos are something else! We stood in line for about 15 minutes but you know your food is fresh and made for you right then and there. Now if you're going to eat here make sure to get a Coke with your tacos it just completes the meal. I feel like there is an unspoken rule that everyone follows. Once you're done eating, you pay and go. No one sticks around to chit chat it's all about eating and going because this place has TONS of people coming in all the time! This wasn't the first time eating here and won't be the last!
